With our Enterprise Add-On enabled, you have the option to submit custom invoice template requests or customize any of the current Bill4Time invoice templates in your account! (Please click here for more information about the Enterprise Add-on.)
Whether you're submitting for a brand new template or customizing one of your existing Bill4Time invoice templates, you'll want to give as much detail as you can as well as a visual example. This helps our developers understand exactly how you want the new template to look. Please refer to the information/instructions below, depending on which type of template request you'd like to submit.
*Custom templates (and template modifications) typically take about 4-6 business weeks to be completed, depending on complexity. The faster you submit/confirm all the details we need, the faster the developers can complete your request!
REQUESTING A BRAND NEW CUSTOM TEMPLATE
Let's say you're coming from a different program and would like to continue utilizing an invoice format you had access to there. Or perhaps you want a brand new template developed from scratch. Please follow the instructions below to submit a custom invoice template request:
- First, print/save an existing invoice as a PDF, then mock-up any changes you're requesting on that PDF. (See the attached "Custom Invoice Modification Example" below, for a quick sample of what could be adjusted when requesting a template modification.)
- Complete the "Custom Invoice Request Form" attached below.
- Email this information to support@bill4time.com along with your company ID, and a support agent will coordinate with you to submit your request to our developers!
Turn-around time for Custom Templates: 4-6 business weeks
Please note: this can sometimes take longer, depending on the complexity of your request. A support agent will keep you updated on your template's progress as it moves through development.
*Please note: When the development work is complete and the Custom Template has been released to your account, if additional modifications are desired the additional work can take another 3-4 business weeks.
REQUESTING CHANGES TO AN EXISTING TEMPLATE
Let's say you are currently using the Bill4Time "Classic" invoice template, but you have a few design adjustments you'd like to make. Please follow the instructions below to submit an invoice template modification request:
- First, print/save an existing invoice as a PDF, then mock-up any changes you're requesting on that PDF. (See the attached "Custom Invoice Modification Example" below, for a quick sample of what could be adjusted when requesting a template modification.)
- Complete the "Custom Invoice Request Form" attached below.
