If you are currently on our Enterprise plan and looking to request for a Custom Invoice Template, you can follow this guide to assist you through this process.
Whether you are submitting a brand new template, or customizing any of the current Bill4Time templates, you will want to give as much detail and examples as you can so our developers know exactly how you want the template to look from the beginning.
Requesting changes to a current template design:
Let's say you currently are using the Bill4Time "Classic" Template but you have a few adjustments you would like made to it. First, print save the invoice as a PDF and write or include the changes you want. See attached "Custom Invoice Modification Example" below.
In the example, you can see addition to the template, changes to text, and custom fields.
Requesting a brand new custom template:
If you are coming from a different program and would like to continue using the template you have, you can include the example with your request. See attached "Custom Invoice Template Example" below.
In the example, you can see the full layout and explanation of each field and where they will go.
Custom Templates typically take about 3-4 business weeks to be completed, so the faster we have all the details we need, the faster the developers can complete the template.
Please note: If your Custom Template Request is very complex the turnaround time might be longer than the 3-4 business weeks.
