A project mnemonic is the word you want to use to denote something that's like a project. For example, instead of calling it a project, lawyers call it a "Case" or "Matter." This word that you choose will be applied to the entire system, including invoices and reports.
If you want to change the project mnemonic from "Project" to a different word this can be done in the Settings. If you do not have access to the Settings you will need to contact your Admin to make this change.
- Click on Settings under your name in the top right corner of the system.
- Click on the System tab.
- Click the Edit Settings button.
- In the right column, next to Project Mnemonic, change the word in the text box to what you want.
- Click the Save Changes button.
Note* Make sure to not place an "s" at the end of your Project Mnemonic as the system will automatically do this in certain areas of the program so if you see "Projectss", "Casess", "Matterss", etc., in certain area's then you can go back to your settings and remove the "s" from your Project Mnemonic text box.
