If you want to move a project from one client to another it is simple as long as you have not invoiced them in the past. However, if you have already billed this project please contact Support@bill4time.com for assistance.
Email the request to support and include your Company ID, the Project (including ID#) you would like to move with the client (including ID#), along with what client (including ID) you would like to move it to.
*These ID numbers must be included in your email request in order to be completed. This process may up to 14 business days for completion.
If you have not invoiced the project please follow the steps below:
- Go to Projects from the navigation bar.
- Click into the Project you desire.
- Click on the Edit Project button.
- In the "Client" field, change this to the new client (either typing or using magnifying glass icon to search)
- Click the Save button.
*Please Note: If you have invoices that contain multiple projects or payments that pay invoices for multiple projects, the project will not be able to be moved to a new client as the developers are not able to split invoice or payment data.
