How to Setup Invoice Settings on an Account, Client, and Project level.

 

Note: When you change an invoice template, all invoices (past and future) will be affected on all clients and/or projects that the template is assigned to.

To setup an invoice template on the Account level:

(The invoice template on the account level will be the the account default)

  1. Top right, click on your name and select Settings.
  2. Click on the Invoice Setup tab.
  3. Click the clipboard icon for the desired template.
  4. Make the desired changes.
  5. Click the Save button.

To create and/or assign a specific template to a client:

  1. Click on the blue Clients tab.
  2. Click on the desire client.
  3. Click on the Invoice Presets tab.
  4. Click on the clipboard icon for the invoice template that has a green check mark next to it.
  5. Make the desired changes.
  6. Click the save button.

To create and/or  assign an invoice template to a particular project.

  1. Click on the blue Clients tab or click on the blue Projects tab
  2. Click on the desire client or project.
  3. If you selected the client, scroll down to the bottom of the client and select the desired project.
  4. Click on the Invoice Presets tab. (In this Presets tab you can also edit the the settings to the project level by selecting Edit Presets button, make desired changes, and select save.)
  5. Click on the clipboard icon for the invoice template that has a green check mark next to it.
  6. Make the desired changes.
  7. Click the save button.

Note: Invoice presets are editable on the account, client, and project level. Meaning that you can have a different attention to on the client and project level.
