The "Receive Payment" screen could be made much easier & quicker to use if it auto-filled the individual invoice payment amounts and total payment just by clicking on each outstanding invoice from the list after selecting a client.
Would still need to override the amount being applied if the payment does not match the invoice amount, but this is rare.
To see a great way of making this work check out Sage 50. Normally don't even need to key in a single dollar amount.
