I would like to create a Budget by Activity type for a project and report against it.

  Hi,

  It would also be extremely helpful to be able to break the overall project budget down by hours and expenses, and to be able to simply enter and track against a total project budget rather than having to assign the budget to individual months as is currently the case.  Being able to track by activity would also be nice, but for me this would be secondary to the basic project budget tracking capabilities.

  could use budgeting for a number of things if we could assign amounts to different users on a project.

  I would also benefit from a budget functionality and if I could be alerted using the subscription function when we are nearing or are over the budget
