Flat Fee Billing
AnsweredHi - I think that if a project is set up as flat fee, then you shouldn't have to enter that flat fee again in a time entry in order to get it to bill - you should just enter the flat fee for the project and then add the time so you can track utilization but having to reenter the flat fee doesn't make sense to me.

The reason you can set a Project up for a Flat Fee is to show how much you will bill once that Project is closed. The reason you have to enter an entry to get it to bill is because some people bill in pieces on a flat fee. They might not want to charge the whole fee, but half when they start and half when they finish or in different pieces.
Now we have added the feature to have Reoccuring Flat Fee and One Time Flat fee options at the Project level.
