QuickBooks integration error "BeginSession method has not been called or it did not succeed"
If you try to integrate with QuickBooks and receive this message "BeginSession method has not been called or it did not succeed" then follow the steps below to reset the integration:
First check to see if you have the connection already setup in your QuickBooks
- Go into your QB Account and go to Edit then Preferences
- Go to Integrated Applications then Company Preferences
- Is the B4TConnector listed? If not, skip to step 5
- If the connection is there click it and click the Remove button
- Go back to your QB Connector program and click the verify button under the QuickBooks Settings. Then click Save Settings and close your QB Connect program
- Close your QuickBooks account
- Re-open your QuickBooks account
- Re-open your QB Connect program
- You should get a certificate pop-up in your QB account
- Click Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running an click Continue, then Yes, then Done
- Try the integration again
