QB Connector changes invoice numbers....

When we perform a transfer of data from Bill4Time to Quick Books through the connector, all invoice numbers are changed to a random, long alpha/numerical invoice number. I have to physically go to each invoice once it's transferred and change it to the correct number. How can I get the connector to transfer the correct invoice numbers??
