    Hi Sarah,

You can restrict time/expense entries to the current week or month.  A system admin can update this for a user or users in your account.

    1. Click on your name at the top of the screen
    2. Click on Users
    3. Click on the desired User
    4. Click on their User Permissions tab
    5. Click the check box for the desired option - you can limit time/expenses to the current week or current month or both
    6. Click Save at the top to save your changes.

    Thanks again for your input!

I don't want to limit time entry to a month or week. I want to be able to enter a date that will not allow users to make any sort of entry or changes for any months prior to that date. Much like accountants use to close a month.

I agree. I would like to be able to close as of a specific date, such as the end of the most recent tax year or the last date that we reconciled Bill4Time to our accounting software.

We send invoices for each calendar month the first week of the ensuing month. Today is the last day of the month, so tomorrow begins a new month. If I limited time/expenses to the current month, tomorrow my users would be limited to entries for a single day, and would not be able to finalize entries or add expenses related to our prior month invoices.
