It would be very helpful to have security on the documents and or document folders.
We would like to create two folders for a matter/project under the documents tab one called Contracts and another called Current Status. I may only want certain user types to have access to the Contracts but all users may have access to the current status folder etc.
Our Current Situation: It is a really nice feature to upload documents. We started uploading all our contracts to Bill4time and attach them to the appropriate matter/project.
Our Challenge: We currently turn off the "view billing rates" option in the current security model for limited security users, but once we upload a client contract to the documents tab (primary for easy access) all our billing rates outlined in the contract become accessible by all users given access to the matter/project. So essentially we can't upload customer contracts without compromising our security model.
Recommendation: When uploading a documents or creating a new folder in the system default the security to all but allow the folders and or documents to be further refined by user type.(limited, standard admin etc.)
