Contractor rates can be set up in the system for users who get paid differently than what they bill at.  For example, if a user bills a client at $100.00 an hour but they get paid at $75.00, the $75.00 would be their Contractor Rate.  You can then run the Contractor Summary report to see the amount billed and the amount they should be paid.

Edit the contractor's rate for a project or a client

To change the rate per contractor for certain clients or projects follow the steps below:

1. Go to Clients or Projects from your Navigation bar to choose the Client/Project you want to change the rates for
2. Click on the Billing Rates tab
3. Click the Edit Contractor Rates button
4. Check the Override Box for the Contractor's rate
5. Put in the new rate
6. Click the Save button
