Bill4Time's Outlook Calendar integration helps streamline time tracking, reduces data entry, and keeps your schedule in one place. Once connected, the two calendars sync in real time: events created in Outlook automatically appear in Bill4Time, and events created in Bill4Time automatically appear in Outlook. Any edits made in either system are reflected in both.
Note: Bill4Time supports a connection to one calendar at a time. You cannot be connected to both Outlook and Google Calendar simultaneously. If a Google Calendar is already connected, you will need to disconnect it before connecting Outlook.
What type of Outlook account is supported? The integration supports Microsoft Outlook accounts that you can authenticate via Microsoft sign-in (including personal Outlook.com accounts and Microsoft 365 accounts that allow third-party calendar access).
Connecting Your Outlook Calendar
- Navigate to the Calendar tab in Bill4Time.
- In the top left corner of the calendar, click the Connect Calendar button.
- From the drop-down menu, select Microsoft Outlook.
- A Microsoft sign-in window will open. Log in to the Outlook account you would like to integrate with Bill4Time.
- Review the requested permissions and click Accept to authorize the integration.
- Wait a few seconds for your calendar to sync. Once complete, you will see a Connected indicator in the upper left of your calendar showing the connected Outlook email address.
After connecting:
- Outlook events sync automatically into Bill4Time.
- Bill4Time events sync automatically into Outlook.
- Edits, reschedules, and deletions made in either system are reflected in both.
Disconnecting Your Outlook Calendar
- Click on the Disconnect button in the top right corner of the calendar.
- On the Disconnect Calendar confirmation pop-up, click Yes, Disconnect to confirm.
- Wait a few seconds for your calendar to fully disconnect.
What happens after disconnecting
- Your Bill4Time calendar will no longer display any events that were created in either Outlook or Bill4Time while the calendars were in the connected state.
- Your Outlook calendar will continue to display all events that were created during the connected state.
- To restore the integration, simply repeat the steps above to reconnect, or connect a different supported calendar (Outlook or Google).
