You can have an invoice template for a particular client or project without affecting the default template for the rest of the system. However, each client or project can only have one template applied.
For Clients
- Click on Clients from the main menu
- Click on the desired client
- Click on the Invoice Presets tab
- Click on the desired template and the grey checkmark will bounce to this template
The change will automatically update for any invoices for this client. Changing the template for the client will override the template used under the Settings so if you change the template under Settings, this client will not be affected.
For Projects
- Click on Projects from the main menu
- Click on the desired project
- Click on the Invoice Presets tab
- Click on the desired template and the grey checkmark will bounce to this template
The change will automatically update for any invoices for this project. Changing the template for the project will override the template used under the Settings so if you change the template under Settings, this project will not be affected.
Please Note: When you make changes to an invoice template, all invoices (past and future) will be affected on all clients and/or projects that the template is assigned to.
