Conflict Check

For Legal Pro or Enterprise Plan users, our built-in Conflict Check feature allows you to quickly search a key word or phrase throughout many different areas of the database!

To access the Conflict Checker, simply click on the checkmark icon as shown below:

You can choose to search for a single word/name, multiple terms or phrases separated by a semicolon, whether to do a "Whole Word Search" (i.e., __example | example__ | __example___) and also if the search "Must Contain All Terms" that you've entered.

The conflict checker will search the following areas:

Clients | Client Notes | Projects/Matters | Project/Matter Notes | Files | Contacts | Time Entries | Expense Entries | Internal Time Entries | Scheduled Events | Tasks

Clicking one of the listed results will open that item for further review:

Please note: To access the Conflict Checker, a user can be any User Type, however they must have the following User Permissions enabled via the User Permissions Tab for the user: 

Create/Edit clients
Create/Edit/Close Projects
View other users’ time/expenses
