Advanced Filters
Many reports have a blue 'Show Advanced Filters' link toward the bottom of the report filters box. Clicking this link will provide even more options for the report, and show default settings.
Favorite Reports (save filters
The "Favorites" tab under Reports allows you to quickly access frequently used reports with saved filters. For example, if you regularly run the Summary report for a specific Account Manager with the "Show Only Summary" option, you can save these settings as a Favorite:
- Open the report.
- Apply your desired filters (e.g., client, account manager).
- Click "Save Filters."
- Rename the report, choose a Date Range, and add an optional description.
- Click Save.
Now, running the report from the Favorites tab will apply your saved filters and date range automatically. To prevent saved reports from encountering issues we recommend always including disabled users, clients and matters where applicable. The ensures the report will run, even if the search results contains a disabled item, with out interrupting the filtering process.
Download, Export, or Print Your Report Results
Reports can be printed or downloaded (as a PDF or Excel file) using the icons in the upper right corner of the report. For reports with large data sets, we recommend entering your filters, and pressing the PDF or excel button before pressing the run report button. This will generate the PDF or excel with our generating the report on your screen, and will result in a much faster download time. Watch Here!
Search for Disabled Users, Clients, and Projects
You can include Users, Clients, and Projects that are currently disabled in the report by click on the clock icon. When it’s grey then any disabled information will not be included, when it’s blue then that information will be included.
Bookmark Reports
You can Bookmark the reports you use most often by clicking the star icon next to that report's blue 'Generate' button. Once selected that icon will turn grey and the report will show up on the 'Bookmarked' subtab.
