NetDocuments Integration

We're excited to announce that Bill4Time now integrates with NetDocuments, known colloquially as ‘NetDocs’. We’re thrilled to provide this integration to our Users, so that they can interact with documents stored in NetDocs through Bill4Time, creating a faster, cleaner workflow. 

This integration allows you to quickly access and review any documents stored in your NetDocs account, and link them to specific Clients and Matters in Bill4Time. 

What is NetDocuments?

NetDocuments is a cloud-based Document Management System (DMS) which helps users increase their efficiency while providing a secure platform to create, edit, locate, collaborate on and store documents from anywhere.

NetDocuments features a flexible environment so firms and legal departments are able to set up their storage and management structure in a way that works for them: such as departments and teams, projects, or clients and matters.

NetDocuments is cloud-native and boasts award-winning security, making remote work safer. In the cloud, their system individually encrypts each document while letting you create security groups to control the matter, project, or document access. 

NetDocuments is HIPAA compliant and can be utilized on a variety of devices. They also integrate with several programs beyond Bill4Time.  

What do I need to Integrate?

You’ll need to have a Legal Pro or Enterprise Add-on account with Bill4Time and a separate subscription to NetDocuments. If you want more information on their services, you can go to https://www.netdocuments.com/ or you can send an email to info@netdocuments.com

As Bill4Time operates on a Client/Matter hierarchy, within NetDocuments, your firm will need to have a similar parent/child relationship set up. 

Please Note:

At the time of integration, whatever your IDs currently are within Bill4Time will not match up with the data in NetDocs, unless you were already using the same IDs.  You will need to contact NetDocs for assistance with your account configuration.

Currently, this integration is limited to the US NetDocuments region.
