Integration
The System Admin for the account will be able to select and access NetDocs in Settings. To integrate your Bill4Time and NetDocs accounts, you’ll need to have an account with Bill4Time and a subscription to NetDocs. The System Admin for the account will be able to complete the integration by following the steps below:
- Click on your name from the upper blue bar
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown
- Click on the "Document Storage" subtab
- Click the circle next to the NetDocs icon
Once integrated, there will be a blue circle next to the NetDocs icon and a text box explaining that you’re integrated with NetDocs with some of the basic details of that integration.
Note: When your Firm initially integrates with NetDocuments, no documents will be linked until you go through the connection process and link your Bill4Time Clients and Matters with a NetDocuments workspace.
User Login Access
Once the System Admin has activated the integration, any User with a NetDocuments account can login to their account from the following locations:
- My Profile:
- Click on your name from the upper blue bar
- Select "My Profile" from the dropdown
- On the "User Information" tab, click the "Login" button next to "NetDocuments"
- A new window should appear with a place for you to enter your NetDocs login information
- Enter this information and click the blue "Login" button
- Matter:
- Click on the Matter
- Click on the "Documents" subtab
- A new window should appear with a place for you to enter your NetDocs login information
- Enter this information and click the blue "Login" button
- Document Storage:
- Click on the "Document Storage" tab
- A new screen should appear with a place for you to enter your NetDocs login information
- Enter this information and click the blue "Login" button
Settings Options
Once the account has been integrated with NetDocs, there should be a blue button on the right. Clicking the blue "See Users" button will open a window showing all the Users on the account. The top of the list shows Bill4Time Users who are currently logged in to NetDocs.
This view will also allow the Admin to disconnect any User who is accessing NetDocs through Bill4Time if desired. If several Users should be disconnected from NetDocs at the same time, check the box next to each User’s name and then click the red "Disconnect" button on the lower right of the window.
Note: The disconnection functionality conducts a one-time disconnect and operates as a forced logout for the User. This functionality does not permanently disable NetDocs access for the User.
