Overview
For Legal Pro and Enterprise plan users, the Schedule Report lists scheduled calendar activity, such as appointments, reminders, and events, grouped by date or by user. Use this report to see what's on the calendar for a client or matter, review a team member's scheduled activity, or confirm that upcoming events are tied to the right client and matter.
Accessing the Schedule Report
- Go to the Reports tab.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Scroll or search for "Schedule Report." If searched, look for the result with the Advanced badge next to it.
- Click Open.
Using Filters
The Schedule Report opens with these filters:
- Date: choose a preset range (e.g. Today, This Month, This Year) or a Custom Range. Defaults to This Month.
- Client
- Matter
- User
- Matter Type
- Schedule Type
- Completed: filter to scheduled items marked complete, not complete, or leave it as is to include both.
Click Filters to add more: Account Manager, Client Type, Matter Status, Matter Assigned To, Client Status, and Created Date.
If your firm is on the Enterprise plan, any custom fields you've configured are also available here as additional filters. Custom field availability is contextual to the report; only fields for the record types actually included in this report will appear. For example, invoice custom fields won't show up as filters on a report that doesn't include invoice data.
Once you land on a combination you'll use again, click Save Filters to make it the default the next time you open this report.
Running the Report
Set your filters and click Run Report. The grid below updates with scheduled items matching your filters. If it comes back empty, check your date range first, that's the most common reason a report shows nothing.
Understanding the Report Grid
Each row represents a single scheduled item, such as an appointment, reminder, or event. The below are the key columns.
- Start Time
- Schedule Type
- Client / Client ID
- Matter / Matter ID
- Subject
- Description
- Completed
Customizing the Report Grid
-
Columns: click Columns to show or hide any of the fields above, plus other available columns beyond the defaults listed here.
- Enterprise plan firms will also see the same custom fields available here as additional columns, following the same contextual rule as the filters above.
- Reordering and resizing: drag column headers to rearrange them, or drag column borders to resize.
- Sorting: click a column header to sort by that field; click it again to reverse the order.
- Group By: the report is grouped by Date by default. You can uncheck it, or group by User instead.
- Page size: the items-per-page menu at the bottom controls how many rows show at once (100 by default, up to 1000), with page controls next to it for the rest.
Exporting the Report
